Lifeline WA has appointed four accomplished Western Australians as its newest Board members; Rob Garreffa – Director, Mondo Di Carne, Nadia Mitsopolous – Mornings Producer at 720 ABC, David Pringle – Managing Director, Pindan and Beau Waters – Residential Sales and Project Marketing, Space Cottesloe.

Nadia Mitsopolous has been a journalist for many years, starting at GWN in Bunbury and Albany and working at the Ten Network, in London for Associated Press and Channel Nine News. She is now a journalist and producer for the Mornings Program on ABC Radio Perth.

Rob Garreffa is an experienced Director with a long history of working in the meat and manufacturing industries. He has had a long involvement with Lifeline WA through Mondo Di Carne, his family’s gourmet butchery business which has raised millions of dollars for crisis support services.

David Pringle is the Managing Director of Pindan Capital and has proven financial and commercial acumen, and a wealth of property development experience.

Beau Waters is a former professional Australian rules footballer and vice-captain of the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League and is now in Residential Sales and Project Marketing at Space Real Estate in Cottesloe. Beau has extensive leadership, communication and management experience that spans across property, financial, sporting and community service sectors.

Mr Waters said he was looking forward to using his experience to add value to the organisation.
“Lifeline is a fantastic organsiation, doing great things in the community. I am proud to be involved and believe I can add value and contribute to Lifeline's future direction.”

The four new Board members will attend their first meeting on 24 August.

Announcing the appointments, Lifeline WA Chair, Mark Hector said, “Our new Board members bring experience from leadership roles in a diverse range of industries in WA.”

“I am delighted that we have secured people with the capability and perspective to lead WA’s premier suicide prevention service.”

The new Board members join incumbents Chris Carey, Reece Waldock, Sasha Pendal, John Palermo and Lifeline WA CEO Lorna MacGregor.
