For the cost of a local call from anywhere in WA, Lifeline’s Telephone Counselling Service offers 24 hour / 7 days a week / 365 days a year support by comprehensively trained volunteers.

The ultimate goal of Lifeline WA’s Telephone Counselling Service is to promote the welfare and well being of the caller by providing immediate support and appropriate resources to ensure physical and emotional safety.

As an initiative to increase support offered to Western Australians, Lifeline Peel commenced operations on 31 January 2006 (supported by Genesis Ministries). Two additional subcentres opened in July at St John of God Hospital Murdoch and St John of God Hospital Subiaco. This would not be possible without the generous ongoing support of St John of God Health Care Inc trading as St John of God Hospital, Murdoch, and St John of God Health Care Inc trading as St John of God Hospital, Subiaco.

Lifeline’s Telephone Counselling Service offers a confidential, immediate service dealing with issues including, but not limited to:

Domestic Violence
Loneliness and Isolation
