Lifeline recognises the contribution of the late Tim Hawkins

The board and staff of Lifeline WA were deeply saddened by the sudden and untimely death of our former CEO, Tim Hawkins, on Monday 10th December 2007.

Our deepest sympathies go to Tim’s family and close friends who will remember him as a warm and generous person with a deep commitment to the welfare of people from all walks of life.

Tim will be remembered by all of us for his tireless and unstinting work in the overall development of Lifeline’s community services and the day-to-day running of the organisation.

Tim brought a unique combination of financial management skills, professionalism, determination, and a deep commitment to the work and to the client groups we serve. He turned financial deficits into surpluses, raised the professionalism of the organisation, and contributed greatly to the good standing that Lifeline WA now enjoys in the local community.

We hope that the thousands of individuals and families who have received help from Lifeline over recent years will pause to give thanks for Tim’s good work.

Tim Hawkins joined Lifeline WA in 2001 as CEO. He resigned in August 2007 to take up a senior position with the Disability Services Commission.
