Board and Executive

The Board of Lifeline WA plays a vital role in the success of the organisation. Responsibility for day-to-day management and administration is delegated by the Board to the Chief Executive Officer, assisted by the senior management.

Lifeline WA has been deliberate in recruiting Board members who have complementary backgrounds and skills that are aligned to the organisations strategic objectives.  Individually and collectively, Board Members strive to use their experience of business and community life to add value to the organisation as well as effectively monitor its operations.

  • Mark Hector, Chairperson

    Appointed as Lifeline WA’s Chairperson July 2016
    Appointed to Lifeline WA Board December 2013


    Mark is the Managing Director of QUBE Property Group Pty Ltd, a private Western Australian property development company, where he is responsible for the company’s strategic planning, management and capital funding. Mark has been with QUBE since its establishment in 1995.

    Mark is a qualified accountant and a member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
     

     

  • Chris Carey, Treasurer

    Appointed to Lifeline WA Board January 2012

    Chris is a Chartered Accountant with more than 30 years’ experience in funds management, compliance, engineering, mining and chartered accountancy practice. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Fellow of the Institute of Company Directors.

     

  • Nicole Walton, Board Member

    Appointed to Lifeline WA Board February 2014

    Nicole has worked with global, national and family businesses in strategic and commercial marketing. Her career has seen her based throughout Europe and Australia. Nicole holds an MBA from the University of Western Australia and has consulted to several of Perth’s leading commercial and not for profit organisations. Nicole is currently Director Strategy and Communications at Main Roads.


     

  • Reece Waldock

    Appointed to Lifeline WA Board February 2014

    Reece has held a unique leadership position with the WA public sector, as Department of Transport director-general, commissioner for Main Roads and the chief executive of the Public Transport Authority, for more than six years. He has recently resigned from the role in July.

    With more than 35 years’ experience in strategic management with particular expertise in organisational reform, Reece is also a Commissioner of the Western Australian Planning Commission and is a Director of the Australian Urban Design Research Centre.
  • John Palermo

    John Palermo is head of transactional services at Palermo Chartered Accountants. John is a Chartered Accountant with 19 years’ experience in public practice.  His areas of expertise are in corporate transaction execution, strategic business management and business structuring.  John occupies positions on a number of community and industry Boards. 
     

     

  • Sasha Pendal

    Sasha Pendal is an Executive General Manager at HBF Health responsible for strategy, marketing, communications and Member services. Sasha has 20 years’ experience in senior positions in management, strategic planning, policy advice and community relations.

     
  • Lorna MacGregor, Chief Executive Officer

    Ms Lorna MacGregor was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Lifeline WA in January 2016. 
    She is an experienced senior executive who has held senior roles in government, corporate and not-for-profit organisations including HBF, healthdirect Australia, Activ and Perth North Medicare Local.
